Longing for stability, she bounced around, searching from city to city, moving from job to job until she became exhausted.  Yosef was centered down and anchored in that thing she craved. Something in his demeanor comforted her. A certain sweetness, a calmness. Elena was attracted to his rootedness. With him, she had finally found a home, a family, and a life.  When they met, she was transitioning from who she was to who she was becoming.  Change isn’t always graceful, so Elena thanked him for his patience in allowing her to blossom at her own pace. She smiled when she thought about it, “I guess he saw something special in me too.”
