So What's it Going to Be?

The issue is peace versus chaos. We have to decide what philosophy are we going to live by. The African way of life sees oneness - that spiritual connection to all living things that teaches humans that what we do to others we do to ourselves. This tie that binds us also serves as a restraint on certain behaviors. The guiding ethos of the current rulership is one of extreme individualism and materialism. They see themselves as separate. Feeling no connection, they have no restraint against destruction, pollution, oppression, rape, and murder. It is this extreme individualism and materialism that has created hell on earth and retarded human progress.
