I sit back and observe as they run the same play over and over and the masses fall for it time after time. In the midst of fear and panic, it has become habit to suspend critical thinking in the face of a purported crises instead of fact checking the fear-mongers as they herald the latest pandemic year after year. In exchange for the promise of safety and security that will never come, the public will give up personal rights and agree to anything without question. It’s all a game and it is like watching a bad movie. In fact, it is the same plot of every “end of the world” or “pandemic” thriller being played out in real life. A sober and courageous mind is the greatest defense against these people who deal in fear, confusion and distraction.
