Cause for Concern

I am not worried about me. I’m worried about you. You’ve stopped thinking for yourself. You allowed them to convince you of their desire to help you; believing they would when their actions showed you that they would not. You have ceded your authority and empowered someone who is not concerned with your best interest. Exactly what did you expect? Don’t you know what it means to be free? It was a mistake to allow someone to exercise authority over you. That’s a dangerous thing to do. You’re asking them to put themselves last. I am uncomfortable with this so I’m going to opt out. And since my fate is tied to yours, you have to opt out too. You are acting like a lamb when this is a time to be shrewd. So, I need you to pay attention. I need you to be vigilante. I need you to be brave. I need you to be ready. I’m good. I can govern myself. But I am extremely worried about you!
