Honor Thy Past But Keep It Moving
The cycles of time move forward. Living in the past causes one to get stuck. Although it’s healthy to keep it moving, it is important to honor the past for all the lessons, revelations, epiphanies and wisdom it served you. It is self-healing therapy to look back with fond memories of all the challenges you met and overcame. Be grateful for the people who came in and out of your life because their role, however big or small, was significant in shaping the person you are right now. Know that this mindset helps to release trauma and karma. That is the nature of classwork on earth.
