Of Flesh and Spirit

The West denies Spirit. It has no access to or  experience with the unseen. What it cannot see or experience is viewed as mystical and what it views as  mystical is defined as mythical. And because western culture views Spirit as a non-reality, it doesn't provide instruction on how to nurture and cultivate that primary aspect of our being. One cannot teach what one doesn't understand. Instead, the west cultivates a society of animated persons walking,  breathing, and carrying out mundane functions aimed at acquisition and consumption. For Spiritual beings who have a higher evolutionary agenda, such an existence relegates us to the status of zombiehood. We’ve become the walking dead.
