Eyes That See Ears That Hear

They had a huge disadvantage.  Primarily, they didn't know it was a game. Everything they saw, heard, and felt told them that this was real. In that regard, their senses betrayed them. But perception was the key to salvation. Years of rote repetition and training in the temple encoded the instructions for overcoming sensory overload deep within their minds.  Buried beneath lifetimes of experiences and individualized storylines, memories of the path home lay dormant waiting to be actualized.  Soon they would see things clearly.
